Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation made 7 days in advance of the reservation will be not charged. If a cancellation is made within 7 days notice, 40 % of the first night's fee will be charged to your credit card,unless arrangements are made to use the reservation on a different day within the calendar year. If the booking does not arrive at all, the credit card will be charged the first night's rate. If full payment has already been made, a refund will be given less the fees mentioned above.
Other Policies
- This is a NON-SMOKING Inn.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Children, 9 years and older, are welcome.
- Check in time is 4 pm. Check out is at 11 am.
- No potato products may be cooked or consumed in the house. This is due to a severe airborne allergy of the hostess.
- Reserving for JMU graduation or parents weekend requires a two-day minimum stay.
- Any booking made more than four months in advance, requires a $100 deposit. The deposit will be refundable, if the booking is cancelled one month in advance. Cancellations within a month will be charged the deposit amount. If the booking is kept, the deposit will be applied to the final bill.
- According to safety requirements, The Apple Blossom Inn can accomodate no more than five guests. It is really only suitable for four people. If the third, fourth, or fifth guest requires the set up of the extra portable twin bed, an additional $25 linen fee will be charged. The linen fee is in separate from the $23 extra charged for each person beyond two.
- Due to Health Department restrictions, guests are not permitted to bring in mattresses, linens, sleeping bags or other alternative bed set-ups.
- Guests are not allowed to move the existing furniture in the Inn or hang anything on the walls (i.e. pictures. dress hooks, etc) . Guests will be assessed for damages to the property.
